Slate Marketing was started by Bobby Slate in January, 1970, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. After working in the printing industry as young man, Slate wanted to provide a turnkey fulfillment solution for procurement and supply chain departments of businesses that wanted their retail marketing and promotional pieces not only printed but also designed, packaged, manufactured, kitted, warehoused and installed.
